Gabby
Instructor in Training
Gabby started riding when she was three years old and her passion for horses was evident. She grew up riding in United States Pony Club and participated in a variety of horse sports, but primarily competed in Eventing and Dressage. She graduated Pony Club as a traditional C-3 and competed her off-the-track thoroughbred through preliminary level in Eventing and later gentled and trained her Oldenburg through training level eventing and first level dressage.
Throughout her teens and early adult life, Gabby taught lessons, coached at Pony Club rallies, and worked with a wide variety of horses from youngsters and OTTB's to school masters. Along with her passion for horses, she discovered a passion for helping people which prompted her to pursue a bachelor's degree in psychology from Regent University. Gabby felt strongly that there was a connection between her passion for horses and her passion for helping people and studied the benefit of therapeutic riding and equine therapy during her time at Regent. In August of 2025 she became a volunteer at Still Waters Refuge and is now pursuing her Therapeutic Riding Instructor Certification with PATH. Gabby loves that she has the opportunity to unite her two passions in a deeply meaningful way and is overjoyed to be a part of the Still Waters team.
